Happy Anniversary to us!!

2009 made 16 years for Thad and I! I can hardly believe it's been 16 years since we sat and waited in the Seattle Temple because I left our marriage license at home and we couldn't even go up to get dressed! 16 years since the DJ at ouro reception called out "Congratulations Thad and Jennifer" when we were leavign our reception. 16 years since we lounged on the beach in Hawaii without a care in the world!! 16 years since we moved into our first apartment in Provo, Ut with no AC and the jewelry box music and chinese food smells coming through the wall! The Ford Escort, BoBo's old Ford, BoBo's old Mercedes, Neon, Camry, Nissan mini van, Town and Country, Tahoe, Altima, Ford F-150, Town and Country, Hyundai....that's a lot of cars for 16 years! Adeline, Jackson, Harrison, Miles, Zoe...that's a lot of kids, too! Oh the animals....I can't even count all the animals that have come and gone! Seems like the only thing that hasn't changed too much is where we live. We've been in Norman, OK for over 15 of those 16 years and still love it!

For our anniversary Thad bought me the greatest camera, the Canon Rebel EOS T1i that I have been wanting! Now I just need to figure it out. I turned him into the best dressed man with a new sportcoat, pants and shirt. We celebrated with the kids and headed up to Bricktown with the new camera! We ate pizza on the river and had fun taking pictures, and pictures and more pictures! We ran into the Moody's and took pictures of them, too. We went on a boat ride, walked around and looked at lights, checked out the snow tubing at the ballpark and took more pictures. It was a great night in Bricktown!

The next night Thad and I went out to eat and then up to the Stockyards for our favorite outing...the Rodeo Opry! It was their Christmas show and was AWESOME!!! I always love going to the Opry but I think this was my favorite show so far! We might need to turn it into a new tradition and go to the Christmas show every year! We even got CDs of the show and I'm still listening to it!
