Saturday we woke up way too early and raced off to Miles football game. Thad, Donovan and Hudson met us out them just in time for kick-off. They played the Longhorns in Jones and WON!! It was a great game even if the refereeing STUNK!! They were great at NOT running the clock when Jones had the ball, and starting the clock on us as soon as it was turned over. Apparently the announcer didn't have "Little Axe" in her vocabulary because she hardly announced anything we did. One of the coaches got kicked out, and there was plenty of screaming and yelling! A great game!
After that we raced back to Norman while Taryn was our Nanny for the day driving Jackson and staying with the kids as we ran around! Thanks!! And also our seamstress making and finishing costumes!! Oh...also our hairdresser and make-up artist that night!! How did I ever do this before without her??

Sorry Taryn...I just had to put this on to show all your hard work!! :)
Adeline had her piano thing at OU in the afternoon where you play in front of a judge. She REALLY didn't want to do it, but I said it would be good for her! :) And besides...we had nothing else going on that day. :) She did GREAT and got SUPERIOR on both of her memorized songs. She said when she got in the room and sat down at the piano, the bench was moved up but she just sat down and started playing and she was an octave higher! Her judge wrote down in his notes that he thought she was playing an octave higher "but he quite liked it!" Sarah took Jackson to his game and we stayed home setting up and catching a few plays of the OU game on TV. :)
FINALLY it was time for the party we've all been waiting for! This is my FAVORITE party of the year! Well, one of them anyway. :) I love having all our friends over, even friends of friends that I have no idea who they are! :) And when I look at pictures after the party I tell Thad "I didn't know they came! I never even saw them!!" ha ha Thanks to Nurse Channe for this great picture and a photo album of party pics! Awesome!!

The kids all looked so cute in their costumes. Adeline was Alice in Wonderland, Jackson a hippie, Miles was Ron Weasley from Harry Potter thanks to Taryn! Harrison was the green crocodile, or dinosaur, or alligator...and Zoe was the cutest little Tinkerbell! I was an 80s girl...is there anything else to be for Halloween, and Thad was an injured OU Jermaine Gresham, complete with crutches and a jersey!
We had friends from school, church, football and neighbors and we trunk or treated around and around the front yard getting TONS of candy! This year I forgot to count cars so I have no idea how many people were there. After that we headed down to the outdoor dance and eating! There was so much yummy food! I was talking so I missed out on the good stuff like the Frito chili pie, but at least I got my caramel apples before it started!! And Christina's pumpkin cupcakes were to die for! We danced to Thriller and watched the kids run around the yard and play on the swingset! If we had an award for the best dancing, Miles and his friends would have blown everyone away...they were hilarious!! Jumping and doing turns off the wall, break dancing and spinning on their backs on the cement. If I can figure out how to put the video up I will! Soooooo great!! The hit of the night showed up fashionably late....Barbie in a lifesize box! Andrea Chambers was so awesome and all the little girls were in heaven meeting Barbie and taking pictures in her box!
We came in, counted the loot, and put the kids to bed! Zoe threw a nice fit kicking and screaming when Nanny Taryn took Tinkerbell off and tried to get her in the tub! She just loves her Tinerbell!! Another great Bash under out belt! Can't wait till next year.....the Saturday before Halloween come on over!!
